The Hague Center is further developing the 2020 Climate Leadership Campaign with an upgrade of the online meshwork to a global 2020 Climate Solutions Meshwork (you can register yourself online). We are also designing and facilitating an event at the heart of the Klimaforum People’s Summit in Copenhagen around the COP15 event. Our aim in the meshwork as a whole is to create greater cohesion and focus in the field of activity on climate change and related issues, to accelerate learning, innovation and implementation. 2020 Climate Leadership Campaign Launches on Wave of Brazilian New Energy

The 2020 Climate Leadership Campaign, which the Hague Center is collaborating on with partner State of the World Forum, is about to launch to huge acclaim in Brazil. 1800 leaders are due to attend the kick-off in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday 4th August and many more are having to be turned away. Following that, the Hague Center will facilitate a 3-day meshwork process for over 200 Brazilian and international cross-sector experts, to create the conditions for ongoing multistakeholder collaboration. Once more, this event is at full capacity. The process is designed to maximise the expertise in the event, and focus on implementing breakthrough solutions to stabilise climate change by 2020.

2020 Climate Leadership Campaign Kicks-Off in Brasil

The Hague Center is co-designing and lead facilitating the first national Climate Leadership event, to be launched in Belo Horizonte, Brasil, August 4-7. It is supported by a major media campaign, by the state of Minas Gerais, and by Brasil’s biggest energy company, amongst others. The process is a meshwork design to support ongoing collaborative action. It is the first application of the Global Transition Initiative concept.
